1. Purpose
These terms govern access to and use of the Pausitive app, published by CALDREN, SAS, 69 rue du Rouet, 13008 Marseille, France (SIREN 104 201 876). By using the app, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
2. The service
Pausitive offers wellbeing support around menopause: educational content, daily check-ins, audio meditations, movement sessions, symptom tracking and a conversational assistant. Some features are free, others are reserved for the Pausitive Premium subscription.
3. Health disclaimer
Pausitive is not a medical device. The content and suggestions are provided for informational and wellbeing purposes, and in no way replace the advice, diagnosis or treatment of a health professional. Never change a treatment based on the app alone. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.
4. Account
An account is created to let you use the service and keep track of your progress. You are responsible for how it is used. The app is intended for adults.
5. Pausitive Premium subscription
- Plans: the subscription is offered as a monthly or annual plan, with a 7-day free trial for new users (unless stated otherwise). The prices in force are shown in the app before any purchase.
- Billing: the purchase and billing are carried out by Apple's App Store or the Google Play Store, depending on your device. Payment is charged when the purchase is confirmed, at the end of the trial period where applicable.
- Automatic renewal: the subscription renews automatically for an identical period, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal amount is charged within the 24 hours before the end of the period.
- Management and cancellation: you can manage and cancel your subscription at any time from the settings of your App Store or Google Play account. Uninstalling the app is not enough to cancel the subscription.
- Free trial: if you cancel before the end of the trial, nothing is charged. Any unused portion of a trial period is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
6. Right of withdrawal and refunds
As the service consists of supplying digital content accessible immediately, by starting the subscription you acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal for the part already performed. Refund requests are handled according to the policies of Apple or Google, who manage the transaction. For any claim, you can also contact us at contact@getpausitive.app.
7. Intellectual property
All of the app's content (text, audio meditations, illustrations, brand, interface) belongs to CALDREN or its partners. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive right of use, limited to private use. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution or exploitation is prohibited.
8. Liability
We strive to provide a reliable service, but the app is provided as is, with no guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors. Within the limits permitted by law, CALDREN cannot be held liable for the consequences of any use contrary to these terms or to the health disclaimer.
9. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in our privacy policy.
10. Purchases on the App Store (iOS users)
For purchases made on the App Store, Apple's standard end-user license agreement (EULA) applies in addition to these terms, and is available here: Apple Standard EULA. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, we first invite you to contact us at contact@getpausitive.app to seek an amicable solution. In accordance with the French Consumer Code, you may also use a consumer mediator free of charge, or use the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
